Setting Up Your Desktop for Office 365
First, sign in to the Office 365 portal (portal.office365.com).
Then follow these steps:
Check for and Remove Incompatible Software
Remove Old Office Versions
Run and Install All Available Microsoft Updates
This step is required for all configurations, and users may need to reboot once installed.
