Jagex's lack of concern for RuneScape gold safety of players in allowing players to purchase spins using stored credit card information places less-aware users at risk of harm if their account passwords are stolen. Jagex's apparent intent to profit from players, especially youngsters--in an act of gambling is a huge concern for customers. They remember an earlier version of RuneScape that was more player-first.
Sal could lose its Platinum-level rating if these remarks aren't addressed. However, we're a servant to our community and we are confident that our opinions are in line the spirit of the game which may have been the driving force behind this site for all its years. It is a matter of conscience. Jagex's decision is not backed by us in good faith.
It may sound harsh or rude given the number of RuneScape we have all loved over the years. But, it's true because we love RuneScape with that same love and care. James A Baldwin once said that he loves America more than any other country, and that he will never stop criticizing America.
We've put an enormous amount of effort and energy into this game and the community that it has and we are utterly shocked that something like this Jagex update will ever be seen in this amazing game. Jagex is encouraged to read this article. They should not be offended but be motivated to work with this community to find a mutually satisfactory solution.
What aspects of the beta have you most impressed by? What are your thoughts about the general beta? For several reasons, I'm not a fan of the combat update.
